Check out the full site at KlickPlan.com. In the meantime, I wanted to give a big thank you to these guys, who made this all happen!
We'll see how far we can take this, but we wouldn't have gotten this far without y'all.

Save Big in Harvard Square!
Hey there Harvard!
We're experimenting with what we can do in the weeks leading up to our more official launch in November. Because we have such great momentum already we wanted to make our deals available to you even before the official site goes live.
So we created a couple of pages on the blog to show you what we've got and let you pick and plan your ideal event. Just look at what we've got, let us know using the form we've built, and we'll do all the leg work!
Just look at the tabs above to get started!

Boston By Foot
Kendall Square Ice Rink
Boston Cross Country Skiing
Made by Me
Boston Harbor Cruises

Checkered Flag Indoor Go-Karting
If you have any burning desire for us to partner with a vendor not on this list, let us know!

"Boo Groupon. Yay KlickPlan!"
The title of this post is not an attack on Groupon at all, it's just a quote from one of KlickPlan's early supporters that I thought deserved a call out.
At KlickPlan we actually love Groupon. It's awesome to save massive amounts of money on things that you'd never otherwise spring for - even though I never would have regretted missing most Groupon's I've picked up.
But KlickPlan is not Groupon - in any respect. Though we love Groupon, our mission is fundamentally different. We make group planning simple by getting you the deals you want, when you want them. I know, it's a novel idea, but it's actually a pretty unique one. We've designed an online system and worked with businesses around the Boston area to find out when they have space for groups to come in and what they'd like to offer those groups. Because we take the time to get to know all those details, when you, the user, comes to KlickPlan it's as simple as entering your search criteria to get the perfect deal for your group.
Not only is KlickPlan designed in a way to get you the perfect deal, it's also designed so businesses will have positive results and in turn participate more and more. Through our system, your group always comes in when the business owner has space for you, meaning that you won't be crowding out full paying customers. Additionally, the business knows that you'd have gone wherever the best deal is, so in industry terms offering you a deal does not "cannibalize" any sales. For the business, it's a win-win. Unlike Groupon who forces losses of 75% of sales, we are offering a system to help put local businesses in a better position, not strong arm them into eating losses.
At the end of the day, you get the deals you want when you want them and business owners are happy to accomodate. So, while I am not of the mindset "Boo Groupon. Yay KlickPlan!" I do think it's important to note: Boo Groupon. Yay KlickPlan.

Lining up new partners
Max here. I've recently decided to line up a whole new set of vendor partners for launch. No, not businesses duplicating what our amazing partners are already offering... Businesses that I am petrified of.
Yes, if you've met me you probably know that I am generally scared of a large number of things in the world. Most of these things relate to my enduring bodily pain. But then I realized - not everyone is such a scaredy cat. So I went ahead and thought to myself, "what are all the activities people have tried to organize that I never participated in?" And I came up with this list...
A bit more intimidating than Bowling, Karaoke, and bar outings. But, if you guys would want to do it, I want us to offer it. So now the search is on again. If you have any recommendations on the best New England businesses to partner with, just let me know and I'll try to make it happen.
Talk to y'all soon.

Unbelievable Power
Hello there, Boston. I'm Johnny, KlickPlan graphic designer. If you can't tell, I am the dashingly handsome person to the left.
I'm not sure if you've heard, but this KlickPlan thing is getting quite hot. Everyone is talking about it, and enthusiasm is at an all time high. At this point, speaking objectively, I'm confident that I can say without hyperbole or exaggeration that KlickPlan is going to be the most important event in the history of time. Ever since the first organism crawled screaming from the primordial muck, humanity has known naught but strife. Wars, killing, starvation and fruitless struggles for power raged endlessly in an futile tug-of-war against the cold sympathies of an indifferent universe. 800 years ago, a young slave decided to reshape the world as he saw fit, and began a campaign of destruction that set the world aflame. When the ash settled, he stood victorious amongst the charred corpses of his enemies, the lamentations of their women echoing in his ears. At his feet lay an empire that stretched from the Caspian Sea to Beijing. This man's name was Genghis Khan. KlickPlan is the biggest thing since Genghis Khan. KlickPlan will smite our enemies, and unjust cowards shall fall like soft wheat against it's sword of truth. The choice is simple. KlickPlan or death. Will you be a king or a slave? Does the world continue to exist when you close your eyes? Where do the lies end, and where does justice begin? KlickPlan holds the answers. This fall, Destiny Has No Speed Limit. KlickPlan.
